And away she goes! It took her a bit but once she let go and realized she could float she was on her merry way and wanted to do it all by herself. Today was the first day she really just floated all around the pool herself and she already figured out how to turn around, jump off the stairs, and flip over and do a back float. She did not want to get her little butt out of the pool once she realized all the things she could do on her own now. It was absolutely hilarious and so much fun for us to watch her with her little independence. Guess the pool will be getting a lot more use now!

Oh and of course she is naked, although this was a bit impromptu and she did just get out of the shower and go straight in the pool. Plus in her defense she has been much better about putting on clothes now so hopefully that phase is  phasing on out. Annnd it is her pool on the top of a mountain with no neighbors above her so well, technically she can float naked all day. But yes, she is of course, naked.

Our first official Binns visitors have come and gone and it was soooo much fun! We had major car issues, a crazy beach downpour, no electricity for an evening, a shower handle mishap, and still managed to have loads of fun! Sophie has renamed Aunt Brittany and Uncle Josh to Tinny and Pad Thai. She did her signature statue  for the first 1/2 hour they arrived and then decided they were A-OK and didnt let them out of her site for the rest of the trip. I am still hearing “Pad Thai come baaaaack” in my head. In the morning she would walk out of the room looking for Pad Thai and Tinny and then say “Hi, what you doing?”. We went to the beach, saw a bunch of monkeys, ate some delicious food, and just plain ole hung out. Sophie just loooooved hanging with Tinny and Pad Thai and we hope you guys come back soon!
