2 YEARS?! You are a little girl now! I am so insanely proud of you and love you with every fiber of my being. You are the most loving, cuddly, hilarious, intelligent, bossy, sassy, beautiful, stubborn, and precious creature that i have ever met.
Your favorite words are commands (up, walk, go, no, come back, sit, etc) and your preferred outfit is naked.
You love all animals, especially your baby (lulu), chi-chi (charles), pei-pei (betsy), horses, bob & kids (lizards), and monkas (monkeys).
You believe Elmo lives in our yard and tell us all to shush when you hear him (it is a bird that calls at sunset and sounds like elmo).
You love the water, beach, rocks, climbing and jumping off everything, playing in your tent, carrying your baby (lulu) around, walking in places that gross mommy out (tall grass, muddy puddles, piles of soggy leaves, rocky patches in the water), sitting in things that are too small for you and being pushed around (dolly stroller, toy shopping cart), and pretending to tuck you and your dolls in for bed and fake sleeping (if only putting you to sleep was this easy).
Your favorite shows are Winnie the Pooh, Sesame Street, Toy Story 1 & 2, Coraline, Dragon Tales, Barney, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc., The Incredibles, Shrek, Franklin Goes to School, Ducktales, and Huggabunch (a weird old movie).
You are obsessed with the water hose and now very interested in squirting us as we pass by (thanks).
You love the buba. You have a serious attachment to it and I really hope to GOD i am not writing this in your 3 yr update because I am planning an operation wean very soon! Don’t worry, I’ll let you enjoy your bday first xoxo.
You love eating condiments straight out of the bottle while sitting on the floor next to the fridge (I have a feeling our guests won’t be asking for ketchup on their fries after they read this).
You have a fascination with the fridge and all that is in it. You like moving everything around and standing up holding the shelves.
You like to create straight lines and towers with chicken bouillon cubes.
You love playing with this random bucket of candy jellies that someone left here and you put them in your eyes and pretend you have funny eyes (daddy taught you this).
You love doo doo and telling us when you see it, smell it, or something looks like it (mommy taught you this).
You are constantly telling us you are stuck or things are stuck. If you cant open a door, it is stuck. If you cant get up, you are stuck. If you can get the blanket out from under me it is stuck.
You are now swimming around the pool with your floaties on and want to be in it all day. When you are finally tired you say “No no mommy pool done byeeee pool”. That is your version of “mommy im ready to get out of the pool”.
You are the only baby i know that falls asleep on the quad.
Your favorite sentences are “what you doing”, “where you going”, “no, no done”, and “i did it”
You are walking around lately saying “shine mommy” and we have no idea what this means.
You made up a song that you just keep singing and it goes “Uuup, downn, uppp, downn”
Your second year molars are making their way in and you are much better about them than the first year molars. You sleep much better now and usually only wake around 4am lately and then go back down. Slowly but surely.
Your favorite books are “Penny”, “Wheels on the bus”, “Elmo says”, “Where’s my mommy”, “I love you stinky face” and “Goodnight Moon”
You love to dance, anytime, anywhere. If there is music, you are shaking your booty (literally you love to shake your booty). You also recently started singing. Your favorite songs are “Twinkle Twinkle”, “Wheels on the bus”, “Old Mcdonald”, “I love you barney song”, and “Row row row your boat”.
I could go on forever. You have so many quirks and hilarious little things that i could fill up your entire blog with a list. I am so grateful that your daddy and I get to share all of this with you everyday together. We are so insanely blessed to have you as our daughter and hang out with you every day. You are the most special little thing and we love you so much. Happy 2nd birthday crumpet, tootie, iggs, sosi, nugget, pupa, cuddle butt. You make us so proud!
