Learning the letter A
This week we started learning the letter A and words that start with A. I plan to do this weekly until we get to Z. Sophie can now write her letter A and knows some words (both spanish and english) that start with A. Let’s see if we can keep this up. Her favorite part is the scavenger hunt and her check list of course.
Because playing on the floor is downright boring
Some new artwork from our happy little flower
Firewoman Sophie’s medal
Raising em right. One day she will be a sophisticated, elegant young lady…one day (not today)
Some more pilates shots
Oh what a day (and it is only 3:30pm)
So this morning we woke up and the following events all took place before noon
Sabi found a marker and drew all over the couch
Sophie kindly cleaned up the living room and placed Will’s boxes shorts on the stove. The stove that Will was making tea on. We were all playing in the bedroom when Pooks went out to get some water. She came back in and said Dada why are your shorts on fire? I followed my nose to it. Yes, Will’s boxers were on the stove on fire!!
Sabi pulled down a bag of oatmeal and spilled it all on the floor (twice)
I went to change Sabs diaper and before i got the new diaper on she peed all over the floor
Will went to go feed the dogs and put the dog food on the kennel. Sabs walked over to me eating dog food. When i looked over to see where she got it I found dog food spilled all over the floor.
Let’s hope the second half of this day is smoother. Sabs is napping now so we have a good shot! Below is a video of Pooks describing the fire incident. We then made her a medal for alerting everyone calmly about shorts being on fire.
Oh these two
Pookie’s art class
Pooks art class looked so cute that i was surprised she didnt want to go back next week. It took an entire week to find out that she didnt want to go if they were going to make her wear the ugly pirate shirt again. The hat, makeup, eye patch- no biggie. The shirt…deal breaker. We didnt make it there this week b/c it started crazy raining (see rain pic below- tons of fun anyway) but we’ll try again next week. It was a monumental class for us since it was the first time we left her alone and didnt stay in the class. Will stayed glued to the window like a crazy stalker, I was debating on getting a beer from the restaurant across the street. Needless to say we have been making fun of each other ever since. Pooks didnt seem to mind one way or the other (as long as she doesn’t have to wear that shirt).
