This was before we left for NY. We went to our first Tico wedding for our friend Eller’s daughter. It was super fun and the food was yum! They held it in the salon communal which is a public space next to the soccer fields. Everyone wore whatever they wanted which ended up being a mix from shorts to jeans to slacks. Eller made a speech during the wedding and mentioned our whole family and how thankful he was that we came. We were the only non ticos at the wedding aside from one Israeli who he works for. The girls ran around and played with other little kids and everyone had loads of fun. We rode the quad there which is why my hair turned into what it did by the time we got there. Oh that and it was a 1000 degrees that day.
