Sissies playing virtual dollhouse “Honey”

Listening to the girls play pretend is so flipping hilarious! I love how Sabi says “honey” after everything. I have no idea where they got this from b/c Will and i never say honey. When they play pretend it is always “honey want to go to the store. Come on honey. Honey would you like a treat. Honey. Honey. Honey”. I could listen to them all day. It makes me heart smile.

The weekend of sickness

First Pookie came down with a low fever and body aches on Wed night, then she was better by thursday night. Next Dada got struck with the same friday night. Momma on Saturday and Sabsy on Sunday. It’s been a long weekend. Thankfully it basically rained all day saturday so we didnt feel as though we were missing much.

Sunday i was still feeling it when Sabi woke up with fever. Sabsy said she didnt feel well (which we knew b/c she was running a fever) but as soon as she heard sissy was going somewhere she insisted on going! She trooped on through it and here she is with sissy and dada hiking around (all on her own b/c dada said if she came she had to walk) with a fever. Man these kids are stronger than us. She got home and conked out on me for about an hour then was running around playing again right after.

Feliz Dia Del Nino!

Happy Children’s day to our little peanuts! Dada was up first and surprised them with a little note and flower he picked from outside. I was up 2nd and added in some bubbles and gummies we bought earlier that week at the store (to surprise them), the girls were up 3rd and had big ole smiles plastered on their faces! We are the lucky ones.

Round 2, Ash arrived with a bag full of candy goodies, a surprise guest to play ukelele and sings songs, and a yoga teacher to do some private kids yoga. Oh and cupcake making, of course, cupcake making!

What a happy Children’s day for these little lovies!

The castle lives on!

Today we pulled Sophie’s castle (that nana bought her on her 4th birthday) out of storage and the girls played with it all morning…and again in evening! We have been watching The Hobbit movies at night and whipping this out was perfect timing. Im pretty sure Dada had one of his proudest moments watching the girls reenact The Hobbit and speak like Orcs.
