Momma at Pilates :)

They’re always taking pics to post on FB from pilates so i snagged a few for the girls to laugh at when they’re older :).

As i type this, the girls are playing barbies and Sophie said “What does your mom do?” and Sabi’s answer “Oh yoga”. hahahaha.

Whenever they play pretend the mom and dad are either running, at yoga, or boogie boarding and pilates. Im guessing b/c the only time we are away from them we are both doing one of those things.

Dada and Ash judge the Cobano High School Spelling Bee!

A few weeks ago when we were on the ferry back from SJ, Dada was talking to a lady in our town (in spanish) and her friend was listening and asked if he spoke english and when he said yes the man told him that he was the english teacher at the public HS in Cobano and asked if dada would judge their Spelling Bee in a couple of weeks. Today was that day.

We brought Ash along who also ended up judging and i happily video’d and hung with the girls. Sophie and Sabs were so good and Sophie really loved watching it all. The morning ran longer than any of us anticipated but was def one for the memory bank.

What a random and fun experience. The girls got to be around all the HS kids in the local school, we ate lunch in the cafeteria and then they danced their little butts off on the spelling bee stage. Oh and they also downed two snack bags of cheetohs each. Oh the randomness of it all…always what makes it the greatest :).

The kids baked us bread and apparently there is another gift coming our way. Here’s some pics/videos.

Late Mother’s Day Post

Yesterday I was clearing off the counter and realized i never posted on Mother’s Day 2017! Here are the treasure of cards my little posse gave me, and I am so thankful for them! Dada nailed it with his tear jerking words and wonderful illustrations, and Sophie and Sabs gave me a homemade pop-up card (super impressive)! I got breakfast in bed and a day like any other which is what makes my heart smile the most. All of them make me feel loved and appreciated every day so Mother’s day, well it is just another beautiful and lucky day.

Literally every day Dada tells me how beautiful i am (even as i just roll out of bed) and how thankful he is for different things i have done that day. He is such an incredible example for the girls as they grow and i feel forever grateful that he is my partner on this ride. Oh and the two that made me a mom…don’t let me get started on them. They rock! Love you all and thanks for all the Momma’s day love! Sorry i had to throw out your cards yesterday but rainy season and paper don’t get on well. Thank goodness for electronics ;).

Pookie’s first art show

Pooks had her first art show at Puedo after school program yesterday and she was so proud :). Sadly Sabs and I couldnt make it b/c traficos were all over the place and we only had the quad so Will had to ride the quad 1/2 way and then hitch a ride to get there. Sophie and Will ended up walking half the way home (at her request) and i think that was the most fun part for both of them.

and while sophie was creating all her art – this little one fell asleep watching super heros with dada
