A weekend in the city :)

We took a quick trip to San Jose for some pre birthday fun and to pick up some very special bday gifts for our almost 4 year old. It was super quick and super duper fun! We didnt realize that it was a holiday weekend so the malls were full of activities for the kids. They had a little petting zoo set up, blow up slides, ziplining, face painting, etc. We took the girls to the CR version of Chuck-e-Cheese, went to see Spiderman in the big theater with reclining seats, went out to dinner, hit up the playgrounds, and stayed out from morning until night.

Name change!

So you may or may not have noticed but the blog has had a little name change to finally represent the 2nd nugget properly. The Weekly Sophie will still direct to this site (for those of you who can’t deal with change) but the new web addy is www.sophieandsabi.com. It will stay that way…until another runt decides to join the game (that is not happening at the moment). On to some updates 🙂

Pooks off to draw some portraits for charity and Sabs hanging with us…being Sabs.

Last friday Pookie went to the beach and shopping center dressed as an artist (complete with a mustache) to draw portraits and raise money for the stray animals. She had a sign, a clipboard and an apron that Ash gave her with all her little supplies. We surprised her at the end and got our famous portrait done :). Ash said everyone was so impressed with her confidence as she just chatted away to all her customers.

Meanwhile lil rat noggin hung out with us making her own youtube videos, riding her bike, falling butt naked into the bushes, and walking to get her ginger ale treat. She told us to take her picture by a tree and stopped at every single puddle, blade of grass, and spec of dirt to explore.

The wrapped up their friday with art class and a beautiful sunsest :).

Sabs finally got her wish “whipped cream sprayed into her mouth” and then Sophie got a prank to the face ;)

Sabi has been asking me since SJ if i know where to buy whipped cream b/c she wants to try it sprayed in her mouth. Well Super Ronny delivered and we purchased our whipped cream last week. She was so excited and after one spray to her mouth she decided it was icky.

Will had the brilliant idea to smash a whipped cream pie in Sophie’s face when she got home from art class. That went over well…for everyone except Sophie. She was actually quite cool about it for a few minutes and then as soon as the whipped cream got in her eye and made her see blurry she completely lost her sh*t. Will spent a good 1/2 hour hearing it from Pookie who kept saying “Why would you do that? Why do you always prank me? Im only 7. Prank someone your own age…shortly followed by prank Sabi (kid logic).
