Yippie!!! You are officially 1 month old! We are all so in love with you and so proud of you! You get smothered with hugs and kisses daily and you are the greatest little snuggler. Your sisters can’t get enough of you and act like little mommies to you all day long. You are the most precious little thing. Here is a sum up of your 1st month of life.

1. You have taken your first boat (ferry) and tackled your first long car drive (5-6hrs home from SJ).
2. You have been in the ocean about 5 times already and watched your first CR sunset.
3. You somehow find the hair patch on the back of your head and grip it not knowing it is your own hair. You have done this maybe 6 or 7 times since you were born. You let out the most tragic little scream and dont realize that you are pulling your own hair. Mommy has mastered the poke through release b/c man you have a good grip. It is the saddest thing so really hoping you wise up soon before you lose a clump of hair to your own fist.
4. You found your thumb a couple of times and started sucking it.
5. You went to your first birthday party (Nora turned 6).
6. You love your bouncy chair, leaning your head back in a carrier or in your arms while we pace all around, and having us sit you up and lean you forward to burp (which you are a champ at).
7. You sleep like a champ. Your first stretch is usually the longest and is about 4-5 hours. Momma puts you in your pack and play on your belly. I used to swaddle you but that seems to be getting too complicated and you usually bust out of it. Once you wake up after about 4-5 hours i put you in the bed and nurse you. Then you usually fall right back asleep and I put you back in the pack n play where you sleep for another 2-3 hours. Then you wake up and we sneak off into Dada’s room and you, me and Dada get our special little morning quiet time. It is one of mine and Dada’s favorite times of day. We just snuggle you and chat with you and stare at you with pride.
8. You nurse like a champ and you are getting nice and fat. You’ve def grown out of newborn clothes and you are now wearing 3 month clothes.
9. You gave your sissy a purple lip which we all found hilarious (by “we all” I mean everyone except your sissy). She thought it would be a good idea to let you suck on her lip. I warned her you have a mean suck and that your were hungry so she shouldn’t do that but well you taught her a better lesson. Don’t think she’ll be doing that again and for sure Sabi wont since for about a week she was afraid to kiss you and get a purple lip like sissy. Bahahaha.
10. You have poo’d on nearly everything in the house. We have done so much laundry that Im a bit terrified to see the electric bill.
11. You have the loudest and most adorable grunts and noises.
12. You are really opening your eyes wide now and focusing on all of us. This morning you just stared at Dada and I with you sweet little ojos.
13. You started giving big smiles and especially love to do so in the morning and when you first see your sisters.
14. Momma has gotten you used to the baby ergo and you typically fall asleep in there while I sweep the house, dishes, etc. Dada likes to carry you in the baby Bjorn and you usually walk out in the yard with him staring at the trees or head down to your favorite log at the beach and listen to the ocean.
15. Your sissies and dada get frustrated because when you fuss with them, as soon as I come and get you or pick you up you will stop. You def have a Momma preference at the moment (probably bc i got the milk).

Happy 1 month birthday our little treasure. You are loved more than you can ever imagine. Time is already going way too fast. I just want to sniff your sweet baby head and bottle up the smell forever. We are so blessed to have you and get to smother you with love daily. I love you sweet Rooskie.
