Well, Josh has officially passed the rain curse on to our lot. It rained prob 3 times this whole summer, and all those times were the random days we had set out to camp. Our camping days were not as successful as last summer, and on this particular day we had the added bonus of ripping both tents.

The first rip came when Will tried to squeeze a mattress in and punched his hand through it, and so we designated that tent for him. Then I guess the second tent got jealous and decided it wanted to make its own vent too, so as we tried to set up that tent- poof, we had another rip.

The first night we camped it down poured and the tents filled with water on the bottom. Toobs slept through it all, but we were all grabbing towels and trying to soak up the puddle of water. The second time we camped we arrived to the back tent full of water so that got emptied before we slept thankfully, but then it decided to rip so that was fun.

The third wrench in the camping trip was lil Toobs who realized right before bed that she left PU (her beloved dolly) at the hotel, and how could she sleep without PU. So yea, that didn’t go over well. Gorilla tape, and a tired Toobs finally solved the issues.

The next morning Toobs and Dada headed back to the hotel to search for PU, and I will never forget the hilarious vision of them driving back up our driveway and Toobs triumphantly holding up PU as that girls and I screamed and jumped for her.
