Lately Sophie has been all about just playing with Sabs. This has been going on since we got back from California. All she wants to do is play with Sabs after school every day. She was asked for a playdate with a buddy today and she told me no she would rather just “chill” and play with Sabs so maybe another day. She hasnt wanted to go to art or music and i can’t even get on her about it b/c she doesnt touch her ipad. She just plays and plays. Pretty sure Sabs hit a new level of pretend and they can communicate so much more now. It is so amazing to listen to and makes my heart melt.

Today the girls went to school and Ash took them to a tattoo shop in town and they got to learn all about tattoos. Two other kids ended up joining them and Sophie came home so energized and fascinated about tattoos. She told me all about how they work and i was just listening to her thinking wow you are a lucky kid! What a brilliant morning and great hands on learning experience into an art that takes massive talent. I dont know many kids that get to hang in tattoo shops for school…especially when the artist charges $350/hour. Ash said sophie was so outgoing and that the guys loved her and said she is welcome there anytime. She is such an old soul. So very thankful she gets to learn in a way that nurtures that lil old soul of hers.

Here is my view these days, and the reason i was able to update the blog quite regularly…oh and the new fast internet helps big time too!

They have just moved into the shower to play and will entertain themselves for at least another 1/2 hour playing barbies in the shower. Yippie!

Oh and in case anyone was wondering who is the “Guess Who” champ in this house…that would be me. Will has yet to beat me…or Sophie…or Sabs. I finally found a game he can’t win.
