We did it! Too many years later we emptied the storage space and finally closed over 2 decades of a chapter in Chicago. Well, technically we haven’t lived there since 2011, but our things have continued to “live” there until a few weeks ago when we finally cleared out the storage space and officially closed this chapter. Surprisingly I didn’t shed many tears, but I think I let them all out back in 2019 when we put all the things into storage.

Chicago will always hold a place in my heart. It’s where we bought our first place together, got engaged, got married, and then brought our first child into the world. So many firsts, so much love shared in that city. Since then it is crazy to think that we’ve lived in 3 other countries, had 2 more babies, and traveled all over the world.

Thankful for the Chicago launching pad, and even more thankful to be on this rocket ship to who knows where with this crew we’ve created.
