Our little Guab Nob is suddenly not so little! Momma’s firecracker, cuddle bug, and ball of energy has hit the double digit mark😭❤.

Happy Birthday sweet Rae Rita! Your happiness is contagious, and your beauty radiates both inside and out. I just adore your spunky personality mixed with the sweet, sensitive soul inside.

You don’t want to grow up, and I hope you keep this mentality all throughout life. Live with the curiosity, energy and beauty of a child.  The thought of Sissy going away to college makes you cry. The thought of any of us getting older is too much for you to handle😂 and I think it is just because you love life. You love it for the now, for the way it is, not for the way it will be. What a way to live!

This year you’ve conquered your fear of jumping into big water, you swim in the waves, speak solid Portuguese and Spanish, learned to knit, macrame, and skateboard, you’ve had more boys crush on you than any other year, and you broke your first heart. You’ve made so many new friends, and both you and Sissy have had the busiest summer of your lives.

Still with all the busy chaos, you want me to hum you to sleep, tickle your back, tuck you in, and read to you at night. I am well aware of this fleeting time, and no matter how tired I am at night, I will always complete each one of these things with absolute presence because it is a present.

It is the first year you didn’t ask for a toy on your birthday, but luckily you lil sis managed to get you one anyways so, ha!

At 10yrs old you officially make the best pancakes out of everyone in our family. You’ve memorized your recipe and whip them out like a pro. Toobs is always asking for Rae Rae’s pancakes. You also make me some yummy lunches while I work out, and have some famous potato type thing that you and Sissy love. You’re for sure my mini chef these days.

I am so incredibly proud of you and just adore you. The world is lucky to have you in it. Just keep shining your Gauby light wherever you go and keep on being you.
