Happy Father’s Day!

In honor of Daddy’s day here is a little photo compilation from the past couple of months. Pictures tell a story and it is obvious from this little slideshow that our little Pooks has one of the best Dada’s in the universe! We are so proud and love you so much Dada! You truly are the most incredible dad and human being for that matter. You are fun, loving, intelligent, quirky, handy, creative, patient, and the beautiful thing is that this list can just go on in this fashion. You continue to amaze me and I just love you more each day. We are certain Sabi will feel the same. Happy Dada’s day! We love you more than words can ever express…Love. Momma, Pookie, Sabi, Charles, Betsy, and Lulu belle.

Just another day at the beach (yawn)

The weather has been so much nicer and we have def. been taking advantage of the cooler temps and beautiful beaches. Today was a very eventful beach day…we rescued an eel from being stuck in low tide (or so we’d like to think it made it), Pookie played the drums on the trees, Betsy went for a swim, treasures were found, and then we saw a ginormous Bob as we were leaving. Sophie said “Oh gosh, look”. It was def prehistoric looking.

You took the plunge today! Out of nowhere you just walked onto the bridge (that is what we call it) between the baby pool and big pool and typically you jump into the baby pool but today you just went for it and jumped into the big pool! We got so excited for you that of course you went ahead and did it about 10 more times! You kept your head above water sometimes and others you went completely under. I guess you just decided today was the day…typical Sophie style. Atta girl! I’ll get some pics or video this week since I am sure you will not stop jumping in now.

Sunbathing

Umm…yes you put on these pajamas, pulled out your lounge chair, put on some sunglasses and informed us that you were sunbathing. You also instructed me to take your picture and started posing. Oh how your imagination amazes me each day. 

Dress up phase

Ever since you turned 3 you have been in full blown dress up mode. If you are home, you are dressed up as someone or something. You are also someone different about every 1/2 hour. You go from any of the disney princesses to Santa, the easter bunny, Minnie, a pirate, and then a monster or crocodile. We’re learning to keep up with the character changes after a few frustrating…”I’m not Sophie, I’m Snow White”, etc. Please bear with us.

Pookie Turns 3!

Happy Birthday to our sweetest little nugget! I cannot believe that you are 3 years old. You have grown so much this past year! We are so proud of you. Your absolutely hilarious, full of energy, smiles, love, and just pure happiness. You are the most incredible little creature i have ever met. You love to play pretend and your imagination just amazes me everyday. You are basically potty trained (other than wanting a diaper for your doo doo) and it was really not stressful at all. I would write more but being 8 mos pregnant with your little sister and having you run me around all day, i am fried!! Maybe if you ever decide to take a nap again, i will write a long note on how insanely incredible you are. For now, you will have to settle for Happy Birthday and a photo slideshow. You are currently kicking and crawling under me while i try to get this post in. I would just like an ounce of your energy…is that too much to ask? You are awesome! xoxoxo.
