Yay- Iggy loves her daddy again

Iggs has a little case of the mommy’s during her teething this past week. Poor Daddy was kicked to the curb for a few days. You can just imagine how excited daddy was this morning when Iggy woke up smiling again and ready to cuddle with her daddy. So glad she is back to herself- and I think her Da-Da is even happier. XOXO iggs! Hang in there.

9 months old!! AHHH

Iggs turned 9 months old today. I can’t believe that she has almost been in this world longer than she was in my belly. Time is flying- i cant handle it. She is so awesome it is unreal. She is crawling in her own little iggtastical way. She’s saying Ma-Ma and Da-Da. She does the Obama fist bump…I dont know where she picked that one up but she especially loves to fist bump while eating in her highchair. She’s now eating tons of different foods and even feeding herself finger foods. Her faves are avocado, cheese, spiral noodles, blueberries, oh just about everything actually. There hasn’t been anything that she has spit out. Her giggle is just heaven and she is full of them. She wakes up smiling- ahhh she is such a blessing. Her four top teeth are STILL making their way down but it seems like the front two are breaking through now. Here is a little slideshow from our walk on her 9 month birthday. It was chilly out so she was all bundled up and toasty. We love you iggs- love love love you!!

Mimi comes to visit!!

Mimi came this week – yay!! We just hung out at the house because it was so cold out and poor little iggs has 4 teeth coming in. She was pretty mizzy the first day and had a big case of the mommy’s in general, but today she is muuuuuuch better and back to her fun loving iggtastic self! While Mimi was here little iggy had her first waffle, her first medication ever (infant ibuprofen and Camilia which is a homeopathic teething reliever), and her first yogurt. She has now eaten several waffles, greek yogurt, vanilla yogurt, and peach yogurt. She likes them all! Hopefully these teeth make their entrance quietly now, and our little angel can have some relief. I guess teething pain is like labor, your mind blocks it out because it is so awful. I can’t remember teething and from the behavior of little iggs, I’m glad. A couple of pics are below and the full album is right underneath.

Iggy got a fever :(

Poor little nugget woke up Sat. morning feeling hot, hot, hot. We took her temp and it was 102.9. After a nice bath with daddy her temp came down, but our little angel was super tired and just not feeling great at all. It only took a day to kick it so we’re not sure what exactly caused it, but our little trooper is back in action. She has two top teeth that are going to be in any day now so maybe that spiked a bit of a fever. On a happier note, Iggs is now eating blueberries, blackberries and had her first piece of pasta. She is so amazing. Iggs I’m so glad you are feeling yourself again, mommy and daddy can’t stand seeing you not feeling good. It literally makes my stomach ache! Here are some pics of you from today and yesterday. You really love having mommy and daddy read you books. You’re so smart lil iggy!
