Ever since I gave birth to you my little nugget, my hair has gone wild! I’ll get you back for this in the future but for now you’re off the hook. My hair used to be easy does, straight, i could air dry it, smooth, etc. Now it is curly and kinky and mega high maintenance. Bahhhh! Here is a pic for all who I have been complaining to about this situation. This is after the salon diffused it – not me. Also, Will made me shower before bed because he couldnt stand the smell of all the product. Duh, this wave is going to need product. I can tell this will be a long road until satisfaction. Oyyy. You’re lucky you’re so cute!

Iggs loooves her water and loves drinking it from our big cups. Finally we went out and bought So-So her very own cup that she could practice holding and use herself.  Apparently all 6 month sippy cups have soft rubber spouts that you have to really suck at to get anything out. Our little nugget is used to the water just falling in her mouth from our cup. Below is how she feels about this new sippy cup.

Aww- as I was putting you down to sleep tonight i had a flashback of right before you were born and it brought tears to my eyes. Your daddy and I were laying on your nursery floor listening to baby songs and just staring at the ceiling imagining you. It is crazy to think here you are, laying next to me, listening to your baby Cd and falling asleep. You are just as I imagined and so much more. I love you Igghead.

Iggs had her 6 month check up today and she is absolutely, positively, without a doubt- PERFECT! 19.5 lbs of perfectness to be exact! Dr. Ettner was mushing her big ole chunky thighs and she was hamming it up as usual. All is good in Sophiehood- naturally. When I found out we were having a girl i was thinking about all the ruffle dresses, headbands, bows, the works…looks like lil miss Soph had a different plan. So far my little nugget is not a girly girl and all the headbands will be put on hold for the time being. She loves being thrown in the air, turned upside down, tickled like crazy, rolled all over the bed, hair all blowing in the wind, swinging, screaming, bouncing, you name it- basically anything that doesnt require a headband. So just for a laugh – here is headband she wore for 5 minutes before she rolled over and lost it. mwah mwah mwah.
