Nana’s first visit in 2017!

Whew ok so i have loads of pics and i am just going to post randomly so i dont have to sort out the order of the last two weeks. We had beautiful weather everyday and certainly took advantage of it. The weeks were full of sun, beach, pool, games, cooking yummy food, yoga, walks, running, hide and seek, chase, climbing rocks, catching mice, killing scorpions, car breakdowns, and more! Nana didnt fall or injure herself so that was certainly a win! We had a successful catch and release of a little mouse who took up residence in our water cooler. Our car decided to bite the dust in Montezuma (surely the ole hag will be revived once again. She has more lives than lulu) and Sophie escaped the wrath of a falling boulder by a matter of seconds. Oh Sabi started swimming in the deep water with her floaties and is super close to swimming all on her own! She also clunked her head on the wall which resulted in a nice size lump that thankfully went away by the end of the day. Hmmm, what else?? Oh Nana had her first massage and body scrub treatment at a spa which resulted in her first ever slick back hairstyle ;). Im sure i’ll remember more as i post pics but lemme get to the photos while i have a chance. The girls are currently wrapping each other up in string and then trying to get out. They’ve actually played together the entire day so amazing so i was able to get all these darn photos uploaded. The other games were far more normal…barbies, dollhouse, etc. Here we go…

Gahhh how could i forget!?!!! Sophie lost her front tooth! My little girl is getting so big so fast. She pulls off the jack o lantern flawlessly. Let me post that pic first. Pretty little, sweet angel princess.

Oh i love her so! Ok on to some more 🙂

Braving the dusty roads…ninja style

Ok so those above were all from Nana’s last day. My big camera fritzed so i have to figure out how to get off some random photos from the pool but there are a couple. I realized while going through the pics that we hit up all the beaches from Montezuma to Hermosa.

Some yard and neighborhood friends 🙂

Momma’s Epic 38th Birthday!

Wow it is going to be hard to top this year!!! First the girls and Ash surprised me with a massage by an incredible massage therapist who came to our house. Then Will surprised me with a boat trip to Tortuga Island on our neighbors private boat. Javier took us out there and stopped at so many amazing sights along the way. It seriously was a top 10 family day for us. We saw whales, dolphins, flying fish, hung out with a pig on the beach, swam in the middle of the ocean inside a mysterious spring of bubbles, ugh just too many memories to count.

In the middle of the day Sophie literally screamed out “I am so thankful to live here! This is the best day ever!”. She swam like a fish all over. Sabs was not a fan of the boat when it was moving…we think it reminded her of the ladybug ride from San Jose but she was a huge fan of the beach, pig, and dolphins. Man o man just so much fun!!!!!!

Will and Sophie made a surprise bag for me the night before my birthday. On the card it said to pick out one rock and that will be the next place we travel to…guess which rock Will wrote Peru on…yup the cement block. Sophie was so upset so of course when i woke up before her and picked the massive Peru block first (as Will intended), i lied and said I picked her “Curacao” rock. Yes, she is dying to back to Curacao. Im hoping we can find a place comparable so that we can see somewhere new but if not…no complaints here and Curacao it’ll be :).

The Full Moon tide pool is here!

This tide pool is only here right after full moon and this morning it was incredible! We all got out of the house at 830am to go for swim in our most favorite tide pool. The girls climbed rocks, swam with the doggies and played pretend restaurant with sand food and just plain had a blast. We had to rush home and rinse sophie off for school with Ash at 11am so it was a jam packed morning full of fun.
