Heading to their first Fun Friday at Ashley’s house!

Ashley hosted the first fun friday at her house this week and it was a Frozen theme. The kids all made frozen treats, did art work, went swimming at the neighbors house and overall had a blast! Sabi was so determined to go and bring her own little backpack. It was so precious! As soon as we pulled up she literally jumped out of the window into Ashley’s arms. Before we even left she looked at me and said “You stay dada, i go ashey”. Bahaha glad to know im so loved. She came home with huge chocolate covered smile planted on her face. She zonked out at the table 20 minutes later while eating strawberries.

We found a turtle (actually two since this photo)

The other morning i heard Flower messing with something and looked over the balcony to see her gnawing on a turtle shell. I yelled at her to drop it (which she did) and ran down with Sabsy (sophie was still sleeping and Will was out boogie boarding) to get the turtle. We brought it up to the bathroom and it only had a small crack in its shell. Sabsy and I washed it and then left it in the bathroom to rest. Sophie woke up and saw the crack and decided she needed to clean it and help heal the crack. She got a towel and wiped down the marks where the cracks were and then put it on top of the turtle like a little blanket and told him to rest. We kept it in the bathroom until Ashley got here b/c the girls wanted to show her and release it back into the river with her together. They did just that when Ashley arrived and then later that afternoon we caught Flower with another turtle (we know b/c the shell wasn’t cracked) and Will yelled at her and told showed her the turtle telling her not to do that again. Him and Sabs went and released the turtle together. Maybe they are mating now? Ashley told us the next day that she read that humans and dogs are turtle number 1 predators. Makes sense ;). Oh and ps while im writing this I am watching Sabs chomping down on an ice pop that is secretly loaded with KALE. Muahahaha…parenting win.
