Normal

So the flu is finally somewhat working its way out of our household. FML that was/still is the most awful bug. Today was the first day we left the house since last monday (yes that is over a week). Will went out to collect supplies last week, but other than that we were all hunkered down and waiting this thing out. Last night the girls were up to this in the bathroom (see below). This is when i knew they were feeling better. Sabi came running out looking like below and i turned around and said WOW Sab you look beautiful (obviously caught off guard not thinking)…she quickly looked at me and replied “I not beautiful…i scawwwwwy”. My bad. Clearly she is scawwwwy. Sophie was obviously her trusted makeup artist.

This was more of less the final product

Valentine’s Day!

What a super day for everyone. In the morning I woke up to a surprise coloring from Pookie and i surprised her with a little strawberry heart muffin treat plus card for the family. We picked up Riley and went to the tide pools. After a bit of a swim we came back to the house, Sab napped and the girls played pretend endlessly

We were surprised with gifts and a card from Ashley that she left in our quad while we were at the beach. Finally we wrapped up the day with some cookie decorating and then a sweet homemade card from dada (pic to follow b/c on phone). Good times and loads of love all around!!

Rice and beans by the pool and Pookie’s loose tooth!

So we were having a lovely day by the pool just ate some lunch, Riley was on her way to meet us and i’m relaxing chatting with pookie when I see this as she is talking…

I stopped her and said open your mouth..and there it was…a tooth behind her tooth. Noooo ,i thought i had another solid 6 months before the baby teeth fall out. I am not ready for this. She is. She has told everyone who breathes about her loose tooth. She is so flippin proud and i am about to bawl my eyes out. Gahh it all happens so fast. Anyway, after the intial shock wore off, the “hmm is that normal…let me google” set in. Apparently 1 in 10 kids have a tooth behind the tooth and it is rather normal. I have to keep an eye that her other one gets more wobbly but it seems to be on its way. Ugh, my little baby and her little baby teeth. I need to go stock up on some tooth fairy surprises so im prepared but oh emotionally i am so not prepared. Not even close.
