A day at the Museo De Los Ninos (Children’s museum)

First  a little snack before we head off

One Uber ride later and they are headed in to a day of fun!

Getting to work in their pretend kitchen

Sabi and I enjoying our homemade dinner courtesy of Pooks

Off to check out the spiders, sea creatures and dinosaurs

Then on to some dental hygiene

Next to kids neighborhood and the kids food store. They give a list when you get there and some pretend money. The kids have to find everything on their list and then they checkout with their pretend money. After that they have to go and put back all their groceries. Too cute. The kiddos always love this.

Sophie had a can of tuna on her list. She looked at me and said “I’m not happy about this one” and pointed to the tuna- haha. Of course she had to tell the checkout man again about how she was not happy about the tuna because she is vegetarian.

When it was Sabs turn to check out she handed him every single item like this. She wouldn’t make eye contact and had her back to him but smiled the whole time. So hilarious.

After this we went to a playground outside, then to climbed on an airplane. Also not pictured was the space station, the earthquake station (where we got to stand on a platform that simulated a powerful earthquake, the library room, puppet station, old school bus, train, oh so many things! Here is the house of illusions

While Sophie and Will went into another house of illusions display, Sabs and I went in search of a bottle of water. She found this instead. Sidetracked us for about 25 minutes.

That’s a wrap. Sleepy Sabsy. We called an Uber and all went out to a really yummy dinner at a place called Saga. Then we took Sophie back to her clothing store so she could purchase her favorite white skirt in another color 🙂

HAPPY 34TH BIRTHDAY DADA!!!

Wohooo what a day to celebrate! So incredibly thankful for this day. We are so lucky to have the most amazing dada, hubby, lover and friend! He truly is one of a kind and we are all so proud of him. Words can’t even begin to describe how grateful i am to have met him 11 years ago and how lucky i feel to be able to fall in love with him all over again every year since. It truly is a love most people dream of and I get to live it. Thanking my stars and celebrating this guy all day!

We started off surprising him with homemade birthday decorations and a killer breakfast

Went out for some fun at the skate park and lil sabsy fell asleep on the walk home.

Dada went for a solo relaxing run up the mountain and ran so high that his iwatch went into airplane mode!

Finished the day off with some pizza and our homemade chocolate cake decorated by the kiddos! Both were delicious.

When i went to get the cake out of the pan the whole middle broke. We cleverly put it back into the pan and iced it back together. We also put different sprinkles on at first and decided to taste one mid sprinkle and they were disgusting. We scraped all those off and sprinkled it all over again. For a cake with a such sad beginning it actually turned out quite yummy.
