We are home from our SJ check up appt trip and it was full of good reports. Mommy healed perfectly and is all set for baby number 3 (umm joke) and Sabi is rockin on like a little rockstar.

Both chicas were amazing little travel buds and we got in some slide and swing action for pooks, farmers market for mama, a few toy store excursions, several morning starbucks, and some imported beers for dada. Oh and we all dyed mommy’s hair from a box (and I made an appt for Paula to come redo it first thing when we returned to town- of course). Anyway, it was a fun trip as usual and the travels both there and back were seamless. Some pics below 🙂

After I made her come inside b/c daddy was setting up our new washing machine:

“Sabi I’m mad…A cuzzzz Mommmy is talking weird things and I can’t know and everything’s awful and suit yourself”.

Gems from Mommy’s check up appt at gyno that of course the whole troop attended:

“Mommy, that was a great ninny pinny check up!” – this came as we were walking out.

“Uh oh, the internet went out” – Pookie referring to the monitor the dr. turned off after he was kindly displaying my entire ninny pinny for her to watch and she pulled up her own stool like she would when we had out ultrasound. No shame.

As I was reprimanding her for something:

“But mommy, I bought that necklace for you. I love you. You can’t like my present?” – referring to a necklace that Will got me for mother’s day from him, pooks and sabi.

When we were eating cheese cubes off a cheese plate in the hotel, Pooks handed me a cube as she held one and said:

“You wanna play Paranorman cheese. Here, you be cheese paranorman”

Referring to Sabi fast asleep on the bed:

“Oh no mommy, look Sparky died” – this is from a movie Frankenweenie where his dog sparky dies and he brings him back to life. Apparently, Sabi reminds her of this when she’s sleeping.

There are so many more. This one always is never short for entertainment. I’ll try and jot them down more often when they come out. She really just needs her own tv show.

We headed to the beach in the afternoon and continued our bday celebrations. Sabi slept most of the time or just chilled on my lap and Sophie went buck wild in the ocean, pretending she was surfing down a sand hill, turning herself into a sand monster, and then making a second bday cake for Sabi complete with coconut, sand, and stick candles. We love you Sabi! Your sissy wore her bday suit in your honor!
