Thank you Mimi and Grandad! Sophie experienced her first Binns tradition and opened her Christmas ornament. It has a very special place right on the top of our tree. Here are some pics from her ornament opening 🙂

I can’t believe our little nugget is 6 months old already?!! That was the quickest 1/2 year of my entire life! Papa and Nana were here to celebrate and we had a great time (pics to come). We cooked, decorated the xmas tree and just spent some quality family time at home. We had our first real snow this past weekend and the Chicago winter officially set in. Little iggy is teething and her two bottom teeth have just started to poke through. She is growing up so fast- ugh! She just started to sit up a bit and we’ll be practicing that some more this week. Igg’s we love you so so so much. You are the most amazing little baby on earth. You are happy, smart, fun, beautiful, hilarious and just 100% munchable! Every little bit of you is munch worthy! nom nom nom…we looooooove you!
We had the most perfect first Thanksgiving with our little iggy munchie head. She helped us cook, played all day and sat by the fire. We had a feast and she tried her first tasting of sweet potato. We’re not so sure she liked it. She wasn’t exactly waiting for more but she didnt spit it out. Charles and Betsy pigged out on rump roast and then conked out for the night happy and stuffed as can be. Daddy, Mommy and Sophie made turkey hands and we’ll be decorating them in the next few days…pics to come. Happy first Thanksgiving to our favorite little lovebug- love mommy and daddy xoxoxo.

| Sophie’s First Thanksgiving |
Today it was a little over 50 degrees so we decided to go out and enjoy the day a little before the horrendous Chicago winter sets in. Here are some shots from our day today. Igg’s loved being outside and hamming it up to the camera. She is such a bundle of fun lately. Oyy- i love her beyond words…smooooshie iggy igghead!
Soph and daddy have this whacko game they play where they stare at each other and just scream. Both of them find this mega fun- whackadooooss – that’s why i love them xoxoxo!
We called little Igg’s dr. today because she keeps trying to drink from our cups and grab what we’re eating, in other words, she is showing interest in food (no surprise – look at those yummy thighs)! Actually what finally prompted the call this afternoon is Will eating a banana trying to convince me that Soph just wants a lick of it and what could happen from a lick. So once Will hung up the phone and we got the green light from doc- it was banana time!! Naturally we had to catch on camera her first time tasting food. We dont have a baby spoon so we used a Daddy finger- off to target today to get Igg’s her first utensils!

Yes this is all true. Nugget found a new scream and she is very fond of it. The only thing that makes it easier to handle is this face that comes along with it. LOL.
Little Igg’s has a new best bud. Charles better step it up if he wants to win his title back. Betsy and Igg’s have been having a bit of a love affair the past week. Anytime she sees betsy she smiles and geeks out. Now they are going nose to nose and even some face licking. Charles… it seems running around the nursery in circles just isnt going to cut it anymore! It is time to pull out some new tricks because now it is looking like you were so 4 months – pshh.
