In Denmark we started the tradition of a solo girls date for the kids bdays. I take each one shopping and for lunch before their bday and we get a little 1 on 1 time. I will do a proper 12th bday post as I catch up, but here are the only 2 photos we took during our day out b/c I was busy just soaking in the solo time and chatting with my almost 12yr old (ugly cry).
