Snuggies
Long weekend in SJ
We headed to SJ last thursday for an appt to renew Sabi’s passport that will expire in December. All went smooth and we of course hit up the candy store, our favorite restaurants, the CR version of Chuck-e-cheese, the Multiplaza and Avenida escazu for some Children’s day fun.
At our favorite Indian restaurant the waiter knows us and always gives the girls little gifts. free desserts, etc. This time he saved a dress handmade from India that he had his friend bring back and gave it to Sabsy along with a chocolate bar. The one he got for Sophie was too small but Sabi’s fit like a glove.
We had a full length mirror in our airbnb so I made sure to take some 21 week baby bump pics. She is moving around like crazy and the girls can actually watch my belly jump. They find this both fascinating and disgusting.
Will and I have entered some intense Gin Rummy competitions. I had the most epic of wins which he admitted later actually gave him a hot flash- hahahahaha. We’re just a bit competitive. He needed 3 points to win…i needed 51. In one round i scored exactly 51 points- EPIC!!
On the way there we bumped into some friends they knew on the ferry so that was a plus, and on the way back we bumped into another friend so they just played and played. Their friend’s mom just had a baby (1 month old) and she was on the ferry with them. Sabi was so impressed with how soft she was and kept petting her. Precious!
Just another day in Sabi’s world
Dance with Eli, puppet show, and sunset with new friends!
Busy saturday – art with Jerry then on the boat to go whale watching!
Some pics from Elena and then dinner last night
Yesterday the kids played over a Jadyels house and Elena sent over some pics. After that we walked a bit of a way to a restaurant where the kids met up with 6 other kids and played until the sun set. Then we walked all the way home together and was greeted by our beloved Gerty (our car) who is finally home safe from the mechanic. So far so good- she took us to the gas station, art class, and groceries today. Here’s to hoping we have a long run before our next mechanic visit.
Yesterday also marked 14 years since the day Will and I met. Wowza time has flown by and it sure doesn’t feel like 14 years ago. You know what they say- time flies when you’re having fun! Love him more each year. Thankful, blessed, lucky in love! What an incredible 14 years it has been.
Hanging with the neighbor
These little rabbits have been playing nearly every day before dinner. They started calling out of each other and then they go meet up in the yard and ride bikes or play for an hour or so. I guess the silver lining to not having a car for nearly 2 weeks. Love their new little bond and how they are teaching each other diff languages.
