Today felt like summer here. The skies were blue, humidity felt low (for us) and the water was calm and clear. The girls had morning art class with Jerry and dada and I took a little walk together along the beach. It was us, some surfers and a horse- amazing.

After art we packed a picnic and spent the entire afternoon snorkeling, swimming, and hanging out at the reef. Sophie brought her book again and this time read it aloud to Sabsy while they ate lunch. One of those ahhhhhhh days.

Yesterday was Mother’s day in CR and I am a lucky momma! The girls and Will showered me with so many homemade gifts that took such time and effort. Will made the girls breakfast while i went to crossfit. When i got home we all went to the beach for a picnic and ran into some other families so the kids were busy playing with buddies. After the beach we headed over to the river where we hung out with another family and the girls got to build a fire. Finally we finished up with dinner at Caracoles where we ran into even more friends and the girls were off playing chase until it was dark out.

Whew, it was a fun filled, love filled, family filled day!!! The greatest! Sophie also made me a book that she gave me right before bed so i’ll need to take a picture of that and add it to blog because it was awesome!
