Abu Dhabi aquarium!
Abu Dhabi – Part 1
The first part of our journey (well second I guess the first was Lisbon) begins. Abu Dhabi was one of Toobs favorite places after the trip mainly due to the massive pool.
We stayed in an area called Yas Island and it was full of amusement parks, restaurants, mall, etc. It weirdly reminded us of Florida, and the highlight for me was def the cats and gym. Little did Dada know that the Airbnb we booked had it’s very own cat station to feed the stray cats. Every night there were oh I don’t know, maybe 10-12 cats lurking around waiting for a petting. Total score.
It was a perfect spot to lay over for a few days and relax, swim, eat, explore a bit. We went to the most impressive aquarium, heard the call to prayer each day, watched the sunset from the pool, and Sabs got to go to Sephora for the first time.
Some words because I feel like I haven’t caught up in awhile
Yes, life seems mega busy these days and I find myself just throwing up pics and videos quickly without catching up with any words. We just got back from 6 weeks of traveling and had one of the greatest holidays yet!
I am up now at 5am with Toobs who has been waking up before the sunrise ever since we got home. This is one of the many reasons the blog is few on words and always seems to be a rushed game of catch up. I guess we’ve been too busy making the memories that it doesn’t leave much time to record them. This phase of life will pass all too quickly so trying to ride the wave and enjoy it as much as possible b/c ugh she has a wiggly tooth and my momma heart can’t handle it.
Everyone is growing, as usual, way too fast! Sissy is full on teenager, Rae Rae thinks she’s a teenager and creeping closer to Sissy’s height each day, and Toobs is a month away from turning 6!
We are still searching for builders to start the house in Pico. This is probably the only thing that isn’t growing/changing at the moment. Ooof it is hard to find builders here and everything is so very slow. Hoping a solid house update comes to the blog soon.
The animals are all doing well after a bit of a blip this summer with Rusty and Lulu both going wonky. Then while we were away Rusty decided to go on an adventure leaving everyone on edge for 2 days, but good ole Rusty found his way home as usual so all is good now.
I am in full on Xmas mode trying to keep track and make sure all arrives on time for the big day. Toobs is bored and so this is where I’ll stop for now. I tried. There’s that :).
