Sabi Rae 1 month check up stats
GO SABI GO! Lil porky got a perfect check up report from Dr. Max. She gave him a smile and was her usual mellow yellow self the entire check up. Here are her sweet little check up stats. We love you porcupine! You are the chillest little tica around.
Height: 59.5 cm (23.4 inches)
Weight: 5.875 kilos (12.9lbs)
Head Circ: 39cm
Clouds stop raining
Pooks was in the car and just woke up from a nap to see that it was raining buckets out the window. She wanted to go to the slides and so she started yelling “clouds…clouds” and i was just sitting there next to her not realizing that I was supposed to be the clouds. Yes, I am a princess, a witch, a frog,, a fairy godmother, and now a cloud. So naturally i responded, “yes sophie” and she proceeded to tell me to please stop raining. I got round two of this conversation on video. I thought being a cloud was strange, until later that evening when i was a piece of cheese who was also Paranorman. Anyway, on to the video

Sabi Rae 1 month round up
Wow that went fast, and i have feeling this is how all your monthly posts will start. You, my little porky, are the sweetest 1 month old in the world. You are so mellow and put up with the chaos and noise of your big sissy like a champ, as well as, your furry brother who also has a good set of lungs. You make the sweetest little snorty sounds when you wake up at night and love observing everything around you. Hmm, let’s wrap up what you’ve done your first month in the world. Here it goes:
1. Stayed in your first hotel (Marriott in San Jose @ Avenida Escazu)
2. Went on your first boat ride (ferry to Tambor)
3. Went out to eat several times. Your first restaurant was Nectar @ Florblanca (like a champ).
4. Put your feet in the sand
5. Went to the beach
6. Went food shopping @ Super Ronny and Price Smart
7. Rode a quad
8. Saw a monkey
9. Had your first Dr. check up with Dr. Max
10. Had your first power outage for about an hour
11. Got caught out in a rain storm @ the beach while walking @ the beach with mommy and uncle brent. Officially got your head soaked in the baby bjorn.
12. Took your first road trip and are about to take your 2nd on thursday when we head back to San Jose for your check up. You are a road trippin dream so far.
13. Lost your first furry sibling that you didnt get a chance to even know (our sweet betsy). You only met her once before she got sick.
14. Had your first bday celebration complete with cake, hats and kazoos.
15. Trying like a pro to hold your head up on your own.
16. Met your Nana, Mimi, Pops, and Uncle Brent, along with several other friends in CR.
17. Went through your first size of diapers (within a day since it was only up to 9lbs.) so i am glad we only bought a mini pack.
18. Mastered all the positions on a boppy
19. Watched your first of many beautiful CR sunsets
20. May have broken the baby record for number of times you had your parents wash the bed sheets in one day.
We love you little angel! You are the coolest newborn in town. Oh your sleeping habits also rock so please just continue on this nice mellow path you’ve chosen. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Sabi’s 1 month bday Part 2
We headed to the beach in the afternoon and continued our bday celebrations. Sabi slept most of the time or just chilled on my lap and Sophie went buck wild in the ocean, pretending she was surfing down a sand hill, turning herself into a sand monster, and then making a second bday cake for Sabi complete with coconut, sand, and stick candles. We love you Sabi! Your sissy wore her bday suit in your honor!
