Just a few notes
Today you were very busy little iggy. You were hustling and bustling all over the place! You went from a sitting position to all fours and it looks like you are about to crawl. I was putting away your clothes and you pulled yourself up on the side of your crib and peeked over at me. I can’t believe how big you’re getting and how fast you are learning and growing. We are so incredibly proud of you. When we are sitting on the floor now you always climb into my lap. You are the strongest little iggnacio that i know. In honor of you and all your greatness, here is a top ten list of little things I love about you at 7 months…
10. When you want me to pick you up from the floor, you grab my two hands and place them on your belly. I melt every time you do this, and yes, i will always pick you up.
9. Your little duck tail of hair on the back of your head is just edible.
8. The slight grunt you make when eating that you clearly inherited from your daddy. I like to listen to it when I’m feeding you in bed and it makes me feel all warm and yummy.
7. Your giggle. Simple as that. Your giggle. It is the best noise on the planet.
6. The way you go nutty in your jumparoo when your elmo dvd is on. You watch the same dvd everyday and manage to go equally as nutty for it each day. “This ole bat, he played one”.
5. When we sit on the floor to watch daddy, sissy and broham go out to the bathroom and you bang on the sliding door and smile at them from the bedroom every morning.
4. I love how you sip water from our cups and then blow bubbles in the water. You’re such a silly big girl.
3. The happy scream and shake you make when something excites you. You put both hands up and shake them as you let out the cutest scream I have ever heard.
2. When I am doing laundy you peek in the crack of the door with daddy, and when i turn around i just see one little eyeball and a big gummy grin…oh with two teefies of course.
1. Whenever we are all out you just go blah blah blah to everyone around and let them know Sophie has arrived. Never lose this fearless quality. You are absolutely amazing. I love you. Blah blah blah blah blah.
0. Waking up next to you every morning and hearing your little “oh” to let me know you’re up.
Iggs goes to the Aquarium
Today we all went to the Aquarium for Mommy’s birthday. We had so much fun. You were bah bah bahing your way through the place as usual and then conked out the second we walked out the door. You fell asleep right on daddy’s shoulders as we were walking to our car. You are perfect. Here are a few pics and the full album is below. Love you iggness.

Hyper Iggs – Our lil Pip
Mommy turns 32- eek!
Here are some pics from my bday. Daddy made the most amazing scavenger hunt and surprised me with flowers. Each gift had a clue and we spent the morning hunting for them. We decided we’d make filet mignon for dinner but unfortunately 9 degree weather isn’t great for grilling and Daddy dropped one of the steaks right on Betsy’s bed so to the pups they went . Mommy is not meant to eat meat. Lucky for Charles and Betsy- they each had their own steak. No worries though, the funfetti cake made up for all of it- yum!!
Just a few of good ole Iggs
Iggy goes to Little Rock
We just got back from a fun filled trip to Little Rock. Iggs met her Mimi Opal and Paw Paw and was full of smiles the entire trip. She is seriously the best little travel companion we could ask for. She was blah blah blahing the entire time in the airport and made lots of fans. We had an hour delay coming home and had to board and then deboard (not a word?) the plane and she slept through it all. Ugh we are the luckiest parents in the world. Iggs we love you so much it is hard to even put into words. Love love love you xoxoxoxoxoxooxo. Here are some pics. The full album is below as well.

Iggs goes to the Museum of Modern Art
We took the lil nugget to the Museum this past week and she loved it. She was more into all the people than the exhibits but she was “ba-ba-baaaing” her way through the whole museum while sitting perched on her daddy’s shoulders. Afterward we went across the street to a park and did a little run in the snow. It was snowing like crazy and Soph was trying to eat the flakes as they were falling from the sky. Nuthead.
