We made it back down to the beach this morning after finally finishing unpacking. We didn’t get down there until after 2pm and of course both nuggets fell asleep on the way down (it seems Sabi has the same love for bumpy roads as her sissy) but we weren’t complaining b/c we got to sit in a peaceful car and actually hang out just us. We woke them up after about 1/2 hour and then all headed out to the sand for some fun. Sabi went in the baby carrier and then i took her out and laid on the blanket in the sand. Pooks ran around finding treasure, crabs and sticks, running from the waves and climbing tree trunks. We really live on the most beautiful beaches…so blessed! Tomorrow we’re going to try and aim on a morning beach run…wish us luck.

Lil Sabs isnt even 2 weeks old yet and look at her lifting her head and trying to control it.

6 weeks and a baby later…we are finally back in ST! We arrived home 3 days ago and I am just now done unpacking. We only lost 1 camera charger along the way…oh and possibly Seddie (spelling?) from Jake and the Pirates set. Not too bad. I thought i lost Sophie’s Sleeping Beauty dress which would have been a tragedy but luckily it was just packed in a diff bag. Happy to be home and looking forward to hitting the beach this week with newbie and pooks! More pics to come now that we are all settled in.

5 years ago today Daddy asked me to marry him on the floor of my office in Chicago. Tonight we sit in CR with two beautiful babies and a bottle of wine on a bed in a hotel room. How lucky are we?! I can undoubtedly say that I married my soul mate and this journey has been more than I ever dreamed. Here is to all the adventure ahead and riding this wave of life with the most sincere, hilarious, smart, handsome, loving, and supportive man I know. Happy Anni Luver!
