Feeding time at the Gas station

Today we all rode the quad to get some gas and after the guy filled it up he handed us a bag of little apple things and told us to follow him. We went behind the gate at the station and there stood an entire family of deer! Sophie got to feed them little apples and she was so excited b/c she thought she was just like Snow White feeding her animals. How perfect that as we turned around to walk out the gate there was a sign that said Villa Sofia.

Veggie in the making?

Sounds like we may have another vegetarian growing in this house. Pooks has never tried meat (well once bacon in Nicaragua actually) and although i never say anything to her about not eating meat, or that mommy and daddy don’t eat it, etc. She seems to be making up her own mind for now at least. This was our convo yesterday:

Pooks do you want to eat cow?

No. I can’t like cow. They make doodies.

What about pigs?

No. Pigs are my friends.

How about chickens?

Nooo. Chickens need their mommies.

Oh ok, valid points. What about fish then?

No mommy. The shark haba to (have to) eat the fish.

Sabs first solo date with Momma

Yesterday Sabs and mommy went on our first solo date to a mommy get together with some girls in town. Sabi was her usual chill self and just smiled, observed and slept. She didn’t make one fuss the entire time and had all the other mommy’s telling me how lucky i am (this i already knew). We missed our other halves (pooks and dada who were off body surfing) but had a good time just hanging out with some other mama’s and their new little nuggets (all of which were at least 1/2 the size of sweet chunk love).
