Sabsy playing pretend

Sabs has been busy playing pretend a lot lately. She walks over the the dollhouse. picks out her little characters from the toy bucket and starts chatting away. I hear her putting them in the bathtub and saying “Bubbles!” or putting them on the potty and saying “Doo Doos!”. It is so cute to watch.

Once she really starts talking it will be sweet for Pooks to finally have a little pretend playmate each morning. Then we will start to hear the battle for the story lines. That being said, Sabs seems to be getting weirder and weirder as each day passes so I bet they’ll agree on the twisted plots Sophie makes up.

Sabs personality is developing so much lately and she has been so hilarious to watch. Her quirky little ways are so adorable i just want to bottle it all up because I know how quickly it goes. I can’t believe she will be two in July and my little Pooks will be 5 next month! Bah i just want to puke. I want them to stay this innocent, curious, fearless, and joyful forever. My two beautiful rays of sunshine. They make me so proud every day. Ugh, i’m watching them now eat breakfast and could just gush about them endlessly. On to Sabsy pics b/c this momma needs to get ready for workout 🙂

Lemonade Stand!

Pookie wanted to make a lemonade stand again this morning. She wrote her own LEMONADE sign and made a pitcher of water with fresh squeezed lemon. Sabs was her very first customer and came back for more and more. Eventually she was hired to be the garnish girl and she would garnish each lemonade with a slice of fresh lemon. Maybe next time she will get to pour the drinks and serve customers. Little one has to work her way up the ladder in Pooks corporate world. Ps (this is kind of an alternative lemonade stand. Clothing is optional).

Above pic you can see Sabs (washable marker) tattoos from last night. Below pic is her face after sucking on one of the garnishes (a slice of lime) from the bucket she is holding.

Forgotten story in Rome

I keep meaning to note this and forgetting, at last i have remembered. After over 18 hours of travel when we finally arrived to our hotel in Rome, Will ran downstairs to get some Wifi info and I started drying my hair while the girls were coloring on the table in the hotel.

In the middle of drying my hair Sophie said, “Look Momma I made tattoos on Sabsy”. I turned around and Sabs entire belly was covered in marker tattoos. Sophie drew two big circles around Sabs little boobs to make eyeballs and then used her belly button as the nose and made a mouth under it. I laughed and then went to wash off Sabs belly. Nothing came off. Not even a bit.

I went over to see where Sophie got a marker from and of course she found the only permanent marker in a container full of markers that the hotel left for them. Sabs had a tattooed belly for 1/2 our trip in Italy. I have to look back to see if i took any pics or if you can see it in any future pics. I laughed every time i got her dressed in the morning. Each day Sophie would say, Hey look i think it is getting lighter. LOL. Sabs loved the artwork of course. Eyeball bubas! Thankful she chose Sabs belly and not the hotel walls/furniture.
