Why oh why does it all have to go so fast! In a few weeks Pookie will be 9 and a month after that Sabsy will be 6- wahhhhh. She already has 4 wiggly teeth! Oh i love them so much it hurts. Seriously wishing i could freeze time.

Sabsy is on a new kick of asking me “So when Im a teenager, I dont have to tell you when i go to a party, right?”. I’m like ugh yea you do and she says but you’ll say no. I said no i wont but always tell me. So then she goes, “Ok, let’s practice” and the following conversation has been on repeat around the house the last few days…

Sabi: Momma can i go to a party tonight?

Me: Sure dear, what time will you be home?

Sabi: 8:00

Me: Ok, have fun, be careful.

Sabi: I will, love you! Can Sissy drive me?

Me: vomit.

and i have been having to have this convo randomly throughout the day. Why? Oh and i asked her what she is going to do at her parties and she said just eat a lot of junk. Hahaha.

Then i have Sissy who came home stinking from Tania’s the other day (it was so crazy hot that they just sat there sweating). I said wow you kind of have a smell and she said does that mean i am a woman now? I was like no…just no. Then she said “Are you going to pull me into another room with me and have that talk. You know that woman to woman talk where you tell me about my period and stuff?”. No Pookie, no. Just no to it all. No no and no and Momma gained 2 new grey hairs that day.

Life slow down.

Oh sweet Roo the time is going so fast already. 4 months ago today we were in the hospital snuggling with your little newt like self and now you are a little piggy trying out a bunch of new tricks!

Sissy has developed a new nickname for you and for whatever reason whenever she sees you she calls you Num Nums. You seem to like it b/c you give her your big goofy smiles. This means at 4 months you respond to Num Nums, Rooskie, Tooskie, Roo, lil rabbit, Roosk and Toosk…everything but Maru – hahaha. Sounds about right for our family.

You are curious about everything now. Your looking around at everything, inching all over the bed, giggling, smiling, making weird noises, grabbing everything in sight and putting it in your mouth, and practicing all sorts of things with your hands.

You love walking around in the baby carrier with Dada, snuggling with mama, watching your sissies do anything, being held upside down, kicking with your legs, and yapping about nonsense.

You could not be loved anymore. Sabsy said it the best yesterday…she said Roo couldn’t get an lovey-er. We all can’t resist hugging you constantly and squishing every itty bit of you. The girls favorite spot is your inner thigh fat roll. It makes Sabsy grind her teeth she loves it so!

Your hair is getting lighter and more golden each day. Your eyes are still green. You’re wearing 6 months clothes. You are as perfect as can be.

We are heading to the tide pool today to celebrate your 4 mo bday! Oh you love the shower and so far you’re loving the ocean.

In a few days we head off for your next international adventure! We are off to SJ, then Florida, then Copenhagen and after that we’ll most likely head to Norway and then decide from there. We’re so excited to go exploring with you and your sisters. You are all such sweet treasures. Cheers to 4 months Roo! Love you insanely!
