Some pics from around the house, at Ikea, on the train and at the library!

The pic of the girls and I on the train was taken minutes before i left my phone on the train and realized while standing at the bus stop that my phone was riding solo on the train still. Thankfully Will did whatever it is he did to ping my phone and see if anyone had it. Turns out my phone took a trip 2 stops further and a kind person left it with the 7-11 at the station who picked up to tell us they had it and I could come get it. My lucky day! It is a brand new and expensive phone and someone kindly took it off the train and made sure it was in good hands in case the owner came to get it. Yippie! And thanks to WIll b/c i would have no idea to do whatever the heck he did that allowed a person to see a text from him on my phone and tell us where it is. Short little detour from Ikea but not complaining one bit!

Happy 41st Bday to me!!

What an incredible bday! Toosk decided to sleep decent for the first time in months! I woke up to a quiet house that was filled with pictures taped to the walls from all my birthdays since Will and I have been together basically. I really can’t think of a more amazing gift than to see these memories all around me of a life so full of love, happiness and adventure. Will really outdid himself and stayed up late working on this surprise. I had absolutely no idea (which is a testament to how good Roo slept that night).

We spent the day together at the house and I took a nice long shower, worked out, and had a relaxing start to the day. Later on we took the girls to floorball and Will and I hung out with Toosk walking around Valby and picking out treats for bday dessert. Then when we got the girls we all went out to eat at a hamburger place that had the most delicious vegan burgers i’ve ever had. Sabi attempted to try a chicken nugget but couldnt bring herself to do it. Toosk sat in her little highchair saying Mo Mo Mo (more) to everything and was petting the waitress while she was taking our order.

It was a perfect day and made turning 41 a little less painful. Time slow down now pleasssseeeee.

Our little Toosk, Too, Toobie, Too bear, Too bunny, Tooskie, Martha, Roo has turned 1!!! Ooooh you are a special little lovey bunny. Eeeekkk we all smoosh and love you so! Happy Birthday! For your big day you were nice and stank (thanks to your very positive attitude towards teething (eye roll)). You managed to have some fun through it all b/c well…you’re Too and how can that not be fun?! We took you to a park down the block that has animals, we fed your birds on the canal, went to the library, sissy made your favorite soup, Sabsy and sissy made you cupcakes that they thought were a fail and I made a double layer cake that turned into a single layer cake b/c one layer so fantastically fell apart. But even with all the cake fails and cranky teething bouts we celebrated you because you are AMAZING!

You still seem to think standing/walking is overrated and only do it enough so that we know you are physically capable and don’t go calling the doctor on you.

You eat everything. like every single thing.

You dance all the time and have a special little butt twerk move.

You make squish face b/c you know it cracks us up and it never gets old.

You love playing dolls with your sisses, taking baths with Sophie, being carried everywhere by momma, eating apples with dada, pulling apart anything in drawers, waking momma up at all hours during the night, reading books, watching the birds out the window, and chatting all day long.

You say so many words and some only we understand but you sure do know how to communicate. You say Hiiii to everyone which is great considering how much I love small talk while we’re on the bus, train, walks (insert eye roll again) but it is such a precious hello that i put up with the awkwardness of people chatting with you while you’re strapped on to my chest…and typically doing so in danish.

You are sitting next to me and sizing me up at the moment so im going to wrap this up. Too bear we love you. You are the greatest little treasure and we are so lucky that you were born a year ago today (well a little over a week ago but who’s counting). Im happy to report that now since you turned 1 you decided to sleep a bit better and Im hoping we continue on this upward trend. Oh you have 5 teeth at the moment. Aww your saying Ma Ma Ma right now…gotta go squeeze ya before Ma Ma Ma turns into Mmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Love you Too bunny!
