It was a day to celebrate Mother earth and Ashley prepared so many fun things for the kids. On thursday her and the girls collected things at the beach and made an earth day card from their collection. On friday the kids came over and they did a beach clean up, made earth hangings from tissue paper, planted a tree, read The Giving Tree, made their own canvas tote bags, and ate some yummy “worms in dirt” that Ashley made and brought over. Yes, she rocks! We had 2 new kids join the crew this week. A boy named Oscar that Sophie met at the pool the other day with Ashley, and our neighbor. During the beach clean up they found a GoPro camera! For a lesson on good deeds, Ashley and Sophie are going to try and track down the owner this week :).

The other night the girls were cuddling up watching a show together and Sabs turned to Pooks and said “Sissy, you’re my best friend”. Melt.

I would say at least 3 times a week Sabi is getting painted in this house. She loves to let her big sissy decorate her and her big sissy loves to decorate! Lately she has been painting Sabi into a monster and then Sabi comes out to scare us and Pookie is her creator. On her last design it took 3 days for Sabi to turn un-red. Showers, coconut oil, soap…nothing. So she was red with big slashes on her walking around town- bahaha. She is finally back to skin color.

Dada also got caught up in the mix and i sneakily did not warn him how difficult this face paint was to get off b/c i was planning on relishing in it after but for some reason his washed right off. bummer.

Last time Sophie made Sabs a monster and herself a princess and they put on a little play in the shower called “The princess and the monster”. Sabi roared and growled the entire time and Sophie rattled off some sort of lengthy monologue. It was so precious.

What a fun, fun, fun morning with the kiddos at the ranch. Big fat thank you to Ashley for setting this up for the kids. It was so adorable and such an awesome time! Oooh i just adore all these little people and the big ones too. xoxoxo
