Chocolate Sabs from Dada’s phone and Sissy mastering her challenge
Let the cookie baking begin!
Last night we made all the icings, and the cookie batter. This morning we cut out and baked the cookies. Tonight we decorate!! Yes this is a 3 part process because i’d lose my mind otherwise. Kinda wish i had a cookie room that was fully covered in saran wrap and we entered, did all the cookie doings, and then a big vacuum comes and sucks up all the leftover cookie crap and cleans the kids. But we don’t (sigh)…so we do it in 3 parts…for my sanity. Here are some pics from part 1 and 2 :).
Indian food and Santa
City Mall, Dino World, Snow globes, Arcades and Selfies with Momma (so you know i was there ;))
Yesterday we Uber’d it to Alajuela to explore City Mall which had a free snow globe activity for the kids and a humungo dinosaur exhibit. I think the highlight of the day was the amazing arcade inside the mall that puts Chucky Cheese to shame. It was so much more advance, clean, and organized than any Chucky Cheese we have been to in the States. You get a card to slide through all the games instead of a bucket of coins and the games were insanely good. One game ran out of tickets so the man had to come over and change the ticket tape out and he winked at us and started letting a gazillion tickets fly out of the machine. Sophie thought she won all of them and her jaw dropped! They got to pick two little prizes at the end thanks to him :). Another super fun Christmas adventure wrapped up with some ice pops of course.

Welcome to the 1st edition of Sabi stories…from the girl who can’t stop talking :)
Pookie mounted and decorated our mall family photo :)
City adventures :)
Well we returned our car a couple of days ago and since then we have def clocked in some miles walking. The past few days we were all over town by foot and Uber. Dada had the brilliant idea to create obstacle course challenges along the way to keep the kids excited to travel by foot (and not on momma’s hip). Sabi keeps looking up at dada saying “whats the next challenge”. It was hilariously cute. Sophie is a great walker in general so it wasnt so much to convince her to walk but she def loved it! We went to some shopping centers, malls, playgrounds, and even had fun in empty parking lots.
