Yesterday the girls had Adeline’s 8th bday party and it was a blast. For a gift the girls made their own little crafts. Sophie worked hard on an amazing book she wrote over the weekend and Sabsy glittered, glued and colored her own beautiful creation. Sweet little peanuts.
Oh what a day for lil Sabsy Rae!!!! First she got on and rode the horse and loved it, 2nd she let Ali put leggings on her, and 3rd… for the first time ever she decided to stay somewhere on her own without Sophie!
Sophie had an online class and needed to leave about 20 minutes early. Dada went to pick her up from Ali’s and when he got there Ali said that if Sabi wanted to stay longer she would walk her home in a little bit. Sabsy said yes and she stayed for a whole hour more! She came walking down the driveway with Ali like a little teenager. Eeeeekkkk so proud!
Also super duper proud of Sophie who was so mature about having to leave the group of kids early and who came home and had an amazing private online class with her favorite teacher from Sweden.
What a day of firsts and how exciting that we found a great teacher just walking distance away that the girls loved. They are already scheduled to go twice more next week before leave for SJ!
Oh they also took their first spanish class online today with a teacher in Spain and they both loved that!
Super successful day.
Yesterday Sissy and I had a cleaning and dental exam and both passed with flying colors! After we all went to Luna’s to give big hugs and treats before she heads off for a couple of months in Argentina.
Also below is a pic of a board from last week. Sophie has memorized all her multiplication facts and is reading like a champ! Her spelling is getting so much better and she is taking a bunch of classes that she is really digging. Sabi is gathering a ton of sight words, she can read and spell, knows how to write her entire name and both her sister’s names, and is counting/writing her numbers well past 20. Go get em little ones!
Well, an unwelcomed guest wreaked havoc in the kitchen two night ago. Will came out and found it doing acrobats all over at 4am. I woke up, came out, took one look, found out what was going on and went straight back into the bedroom. A whole bunch of no thanks.
Last night Will set up operation kill a rat and was pretty convinced he’d be successful, but ratty must have gotten word and never showed up. We’ll see what tonight brings. Javier brought over some rat poison for the roof so it looks like a new operation will be taking place. I’ll be in the bedroom, with the door closed and the noise maker cranked up high. TBC
Well, today is the day. It has been a long run with lil Chi Chi. From single in NYC, to Queens, to Brookyln with a new dad and doggy sister, to Chicago with a new baby sister, and lastly to CR with a new dog brother, a new dog sister, another new baby sister, and a sister cat. Sadly, the time has come to head off on the next journey and meet up with Papa, Nana, and Betsy.
We love you Charles! Thank you for being my first dog, and as Dada says…you brought our whole family together. If it wasn’t for LuvCharlie I would have never met Dada at a trade show where it all began. Thank you for converting me into a dog lover and sharing you life with me.
I feel sad to let you go today and to have to make this decision but I feel confident that it is the right decision and your spirit will fly high. May you whiz all over the clouds, bark your bum off and eat all the chicken your heart desires.
