Momma’s first attempt at sushi – avocado/carrot/bell pepper roll
Charlie is home, bathed, and Sabsy showered him with love as usual
Feliz dia de madres to me!!
Yesterday was Mother’s day in CR and I am a lucky momma! The girls and Will showered me with so many homemade gifts that took such time and effort. Will made the girls breakfast while i went to crossfit. When i got home we all went to the beach for a picnic and ran into some other families so the kids were busy playing with buddies. After the beach we headed over to the river where we hung out with another family and the girls got to build a fire. Finally we finished up with dinner at Caracoles where we ran into even more friends and the girls were off playing chase until it was dark out.
Whew, it was a fun filled, love filled, family filled day!!! The greatest! Sophie also made me a book that she gave me right before bed so i’ll need to take a picture of that and add it to blog because it was awesome!
Arkansas August 2018
Girls day at the spa before Arkansas
17 Weeks!
Hello lil porcupine! We got to see you the other day and you are officially a little girl! YIPPIE!!! We love you so very much already. You are moving around and growing perfectly- keep it up!
We got our Mike and Ike’s in Arkansas- finally! We ate so many the first day that we haven’t had any since. Hmm, what else have we been craving?? Veggie meatballs, shrimp, avocado sushi, kiwis, green apples, chinese food, Dots. We covered all those bases either in the states or home. *i had to come back an add cherry tomatoes (after i just downed a bowl). I totally forgot that i just want to eat cherry tomatoes like im popping grapes…oh and green grapes- those too!! Nom Nom Nom. Also, I felt you kick, punch or hiccup 4 times tonight (you’re about 18 weeks now)!!! Yippie!!! Maybe you were thanking me for the cherry tomato binge 😉
We’re back at Crossfit this week and it felt super good! Don’t worry, we’ll move on to some yoga as you get bigger. Right now you’re breech so hoping you’re going to keep on moving and turn that little hiney around. The umbilical cord was straight through your legs but we got it to move enough to see that yes you are for sure a girl!
See you again in about 4 weeks. Keep it up peanut. xoxo
